Joshua
My journey started when I was 20 years of age weighing 18 stone.
From the age of 10 I weighed 10 stone, each year that went by I put on another stone to match my age. It got to the point where I couldn’t find a pair of trousers to fit me properly. Also, I was an asthmatic through my teenage years which didn’t help me whatsoever if I did try to exercise.
I got to the age of 20, weighing 18 stone and had enough. I wanted to make a change. First of all I tried stupid fad diets but I realised that those fab diets were just temporary losses, I would put the weight back on.
After finally coming to my senses, I stopped the fad diets and cutting out the crap food. I started eating fresh food, drinking lots of water & educating myself as well as finding out more what my body could & couldn’t handle.
Luckily one of my friends (Jamie Carrol) taught me all be basics about weight training. I then found love for cardio, and noticed my body changing rapidly with weight training and high intensity cardio.
I went for a check up with my local doctor who advised me that I didn’t have asthma anymore due to the amount of cardio which i had done, my lungs improved.
I’m still on my Journey today and will continue to get to where I want to be.
My journey has motivated me in so many ways as well as becoming a qualified fitness instructor & Personal trainer, my aim to is show others it can be done with the right nutrition and exercise!
